What to include

• Which tool you used (Compress, Merge, Split, PDF to Word, and so on).
• Your browser and device, for example Chrome on Windows or Safari on iPhone.
• What happened, in one or two sentences, and the approximate size and page count of the file.

Please do not attach a confidential PDF. The contents are not needed to fix most problems, and it is better if you do not send them. If a specific file fails, a description of how it was made (scanner app, exported from Word, and so on) usually helps more than the file.

What we cannot do

We cannot retrieve a file you processed. It lived in your browser tab and was never uploaded. There are no accounts, so there is no password to reset. We cannot open a password-protected PDF for you; if a file is encrypted, remove the password in a reader you trust, then try again.

Replies usually take a few business days. Ads are served by Google AdSense, and we cannot change which ads an individual visitor sees; the privacy policy explains your ad choices.
